Giant panda

Here's my drawing of one!

 Giant Panda

Scientific name: Ailuropoda melanoleuca (Which means "black and white cat-foot")
The Giant Panda is native to central-western and south western China. A panda's diet is 99% bamboo even though they belong to the order Carnivore.Pandas in the wild sometimes eat wild tubers, grass, meat in the form of carrion, rodents, and birds. In captivity they might get shrub leaves, honey, oranges, yams, eggs, fish,or bananas along with specially prepared food.
Sadly,Giant Pandas are endangered. They are endangered because of  habitat loss and from the fact that they have a very low birthrate. Now I won't explain about the reason why the are endangered but you could click on this link and get a not so brief explanation. [http://wiki.answers.com]
